Content & IP Policy
Last updated: October 2, 2026
These documents are operational terms for using DogDart at dogdart.com. They are not a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Overview
This Policy explains ownership, licenses, and responsibilities for prompts, uploads, templates, and AI outputs on DogDart. It works together with the Terms and Acceptable Use Policy.
2. Your User Content
You retain whatever rights you already have in prompts, negative prompts, reference images, and other materials you submit. You grant DogDart a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, generate from, store, backup, and display User Content as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service, enforce Policies, and comply with law.
You represent that you have all rights and consents needed for this license, including adult consent for any recognizable person depicted in uploads.
3. AI outputs
3.1 Allocation of rights
As between you and DogDart, and to the extent permitted by law, you may use outputs generated for your account for personal or commercial purposes, subject to: (a) these Policies; (b) third-party rights; (c) upstream model provider terms; and (d) applicable law. We do not claim copyright in your prompts solely because you typed them into DogDart.
3.2 No uniqueness warranty
Outputs may be similar or identical to outputs generated for others. AI systems can reproduce patterns from training data. You are responsible for clearing rights before commercial distribution.
3.3 Our license to outputs
You grant DogDart a license to store and process outputs for delivery to you, abuse review, backup, debugging, and legal compliance. We do not sell your private library contents as a dataset without a separate disclosure/consent flow.
4. DogDart IP and templates
The Service software, branding, UI, documentation, and curated template packagings are owned by DogDart or its licensors. Templates may include prompt scaffolds and metadata; using a template does not transfer ownership of DogDart branding or software to you.
5. Third-party rights
Do not use the Service to infringe copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, publicity, or privacy rights. This includes uploading copyrighted images as references without permission, or generating outputs that you know are unlawful copies of protected works.
6. Notice and takedown
If you believe material on DogDart infringes your rights, email Dogdart System Support at [email protected] with:
- your contact information;
- identification of the work/right claimed infringed;
- URLs or job/library IDs for the material;
- a statement of good-faith belief that use is unauthorized;
- a statement that your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act;
- your signature (physical or electronic).
We may remove or disable access to material and, in appropriate cases, terminate repeat infringers. Counter-notices may be submitted where applicable law provides that process. Update this section with a formal DMCA agent designation if you operate under U.S. law.
7. Our right to remove
We may remove User Content or outputs that violate Policies, create legal risk, or harm the Service, without obligation to host indefinitely. Deletion from primary systems may not purge encrypted backups immediately.
